My Story

I am a lifelong truth seeker.

So much of what makes me who I am is what I love:

All things soul-related, art, hikes in nature, writing in coffee shops, playing games, taking photos, connecting and laughing with my family and friends.

I am at my best when I am one-on-one with people I love, deeply connecting and talking about things with which we are passionate.

At this stage of my life, I have been trying my hardest to uncover those passions/interests that tap into as many parts of my ME-ness as possible.

I can tell you after years of trying to marginalize and even rid myself of the ME parts that I have always considered unacceptable, this way of moving through the world is a whole lot nicer.  I recommend it to all my friends.

Why I do this

For much of my life, I have been an overly shy and emotional person riddled with overwhelm, shame, and self-hate.  This was driven by a stubborn compulsion to use others' opinions of me as the lens by which I determined my personal value.

Luckily, my infinite curiosity has led me into the worlds of philosophy, spirituality, and psychotherapy.  These things helped lay a foundational understanding of my destructive patterns; but didn't provide sustainable or substantial effects.

Though I have had unique life experiences, fulfilling relationships, and numerous achievements, I have lived most of my life feeling lost.

I found tapping at the lowest time of my life after a few significant life losses.  I half-heartedly did tapping to cope and then cursed it as just another modality that couldn't make a lasting change in my life.

At that point, what I was up against was the effects of a lifetime of destructive patterns and self-loathing that had cumulated into an existential identity crisis.  It persisted for two years before I completely fell apart.  In the recovery process, I picked EFT back up, desperate to survive what I had gone through.

My search of  YouTube videos gave me a basic understanding and use of EFT.  I eventually stumbled upon an EFT technique called Matrix Reimprinting and was instantly fascinated.  It felt like nothing I had seen or tried before, and I thought I had tried everything.

I had been plagued for years by chronic episodes of debilitating neck pain and was left to take prescription medicine that gave me horrible side effects.  I left my first Matrix session without neck pain and filled with hope.

Even with a limited knowledge of basic EFT and Matrix Reimprinting, I started to experience profound changes in how I showed up in life.  I was learning new ways to handle emotions, stress, and life transitions.  I was even communicating more effectively with greater ease and clarity as I was gaining a widening perspective to my life and the world around me.  I wondered what more could be possible if I learned EFT in more depth.

I completed the training for basic EFT I and II and Hacking Reality through Rob Nelson.  It proved to be so transformative that I decided to complete the practitioner certification process with the goal of understanding it at an even deeper level.

Through the practitioner certification process, I was able further my own inner work through tapping sessions with fellow practitioners-in-training.  This took my healing to another level.  Through their guidance, I was able to uncover my own blind spots and start to heal and move past pervasive destructive patterns.

Through that process, it felt like all roads had led me to this, and the puzzle pieces of my life started to come together.  Tapping has transformed my life in many ways and given me greater self-awareness, understanding, and freedom than I ever thought possible.

I tried a lot of tools and found value in many.

As a highly emotional person, I have waited my entire life for a tool like tapping.

Now, I'm on a mission to show people what is possible when we meet our painful parts with compassion and reverence through the tool of EFT.  I believe the soul can guide us to those higher ideals we all hope for like freedom, joy, and acceptance.  What is needed is a safe space for the soul to speak and unwind.
